Stone Therapy Course

Duration:  Day Class 9.30am – 4.30pm

Venue: The Scottish Beauty School

Pre Requisites: Attendees must hold a body massage qualification including Anatomy and Physiology. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent or in a college/salon working towards Level 2.

Certification: The Scottish Beauty School Certificate in Stone Therapy

Dress: Professional salon uniform

Cost:  £160 (inc of vat)
(Stone Therapy kits are provided for the duration of your training day)

This course is eligible for ILA Funding

Stone Therapy kits and accessories will be available to purchase on the day of your training from the cash and carry

Stone Therapy Treatment:

This is a tremendously powerful treatment both in terms of the physiological effects upon the client and also giving fantastic opportunities for increasing client base and customer spend.

Course Content:

This course covers the history of stone therapy including its physical effects, consultations, contra indications and aftercare advice. The spiritual effects of stone therapy are explored including the characteristics of the 7 chakras and the use of semi precious stones. Students will each give and receive a Stone Therapy treatment.

This course includes demonstrations in warm stone therapy massage body techniques and guidance for safe application and the hygiene and handling of the stones. No models are required for this course as participants will pair up and give and receive a Stone Therapy treatment.
